Funding opportunities for PhDs and postdoctoral fellowships in the social sciences 4 January 2019
The London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (LISS DTP) has a number of funding opportunities available to Queen Mary students: the Open and CASE (project-based) studentship competitions for PhD studentship finding, as well as opportunities for postdoctoral fellowships.

Student profile: Qilong Wu 3 December 2018
Qilong Wu is an alumnus of the joint programme between Queen Mary and Nanchang University in China. Having graduated with a joint degree in Biomedical Sciences/Clinical Biomedicine, Qilong is now undertaking a PhD with us in the School of Biological and Chemical Sciences. We caught up with him to find out more about his experience, and how this influenced his decision to join us in Mile End for his postgraduate study.

Financial Assistance Fund 2018/19 28 November 2018
Queen Mary has funding available for the current academic year to assist students in financial difficulties. All students are welcome to apply, however if you are in your final year and experiencing financial difficulties you will be considered one of the priority groups for assistance from the Fund.

Queen Mary Wellbeing Fund - new for 2018/19 28 November 2018
If you are an undergraduate student starting on your first year with QMUL in 2018/19 and have been income assessed by Student Finance as having a household income between £20,000 and £42,600, you can apply for a contribution towards the costs associated with participating in societies, sports or undertaking volunteering opportunities.
