LGBT History Month at Queen Mary 4 February 2019
February marks LGBT History Month in the UK. At Queen Mary, we are proud to embrace diversity and the wide range of perspectives and experiences it brings with it.
National Student Money Week 4 February 2019
Monday 4 to Friday 8 February is National Student Money Week. Here, the Advice and Counselling Serice provide guidance on how to improve your money management. Welfare Advisers from the Advice and Counselling Service will also be running money pop-ups every lunch time (12.30-1.30pm) at various locations across the Mile End and Whitechapel campuses.

The Fund is now open for applications from continuing undergraduate and postgraduate students who wish to apply for financial help towards travel in the summer vacation.

We were delighted to welcome Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft and co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to Queen Mary on Friday 25 January for a wide-ranging Q&A session with students. The conversation explored Bill’s interests in global health, clean energy, technology, philanthropy, innovation and leadership.
