There are a number of drop-in sessions taking place this week from Monday 3 to Friday 7 December to which you are invited. Have your say and share your thoughts on what you think is important for us to consider in the development of our new University strategy.
We are in the process of developing a new strategy for our University, to set out our vision, aims and objectives for the next 10 years. I want to invite you all to have your say on what you think is important for us to consider in making these plans.
Queen Mary is a fantastic university. We are however working in a very volatile environment for higher education, and we also know that there are areas where we can improve. Our new strategy will provide a framework to ensure Queen Mary provides the highest quality education and experience for students, informed by world-leading research and underpinned by engagement with our local communities. Our challenge now is to create that framework – and your input into this is crucial. Do please come along to one of the drop-in sessions listed below to share your thoughts. The events will be hosted by University staff alongside your Students' Union Executive Officers:
There's no need to register – just turn up and share your thoughts over pizza and refreshments! If you can't make one of the drop-in sessions, please send your ideas and comments to strategy@qmul.ac.uk or visit the stand outside the Students' Union Annual Members Meeting from 5.30pm on Tuesday 4 December (the meeting starts at 6.30pm). Best wishes Colin Bailey President and Principal Find out more about the development of our new strategy at my.qmul.ac.uk/strategy.
