Level Up Mentoring Scheme

We understand that students are balancing a lot, which is why we created Level Up - a flexible, low-pressure programme offering simple, practical support that fits around your schedule and helps you feel more confident and in control of your studies.

The Level Up Scheme helps students strengthen academic progress while developing employability skills. With tailored, online 30 minute, academic and essential skills sessions delivered by our Academic Skills Department, students will build confidence, communication, self-management and feedback skills valued by future employers.

The scheme will run from September to December 2026.

How it works:

  1. Attend a compulsory introduction and create a profile on Vygo (September)
  2. Attend 2–3 academic/essential skills sessions of your choosing (from September – December)
  3. Submit a written reflection 500 words max via QMPlus by the deadline (31st January 2027)

What’s in it for you?

  • Gain practical skills that actually help at uni 📈
  • One-to-one peer mentor support 🤝
