Your Library Survey: help us to improve your Library Services experience
All Queen Mary students and staff are invited to share their views about Library Services by taking part in a survey launching Monday 2 November 2026.
A company called Alterline will administer the Your Library Survey and we want to hear your views on various aspects of the service and facilities. Whether you regularly visit a physical library or study space, or access resources and support online, your insights are vital to help us improve the service.

When will the survey run?
The survey lauches Monday 2 November and will run for five weeks, until midnight on Sunday 6 December.
How will I be invited to participate?
You will receive a personal invitation to your Queen Mary email address from Alterline. The email will include a link to participate in the survey. Further reminder emails will be sent throughout the survey period.
Is there an incentive for participating?
Yes, as a thank you for taking part, you can choose to be entered into a prize draw to win one of five £25 vouchers.
Are responses to the survey anonymous?
Yes, all responses will be anonymised. Your name and Queen Mary email address have been provided only for the purpose of inviting you to participate. User data and responses will be held and processed in line with University requirements for data management and privacy.
What happens next?
Once the survey has closed, Library Services will share the outcomes with everyone and will use the feedback to make improvements to the service that enhance the experience of all our students and staff.
