Queen Mary is carrying out a major upgrade to the telephony system on Saturday 10 April.
This is to improve functionality on the system and address some issues identified during Clearing last summer. During the upgrade, there will be an interruption to all Queen Mary telephony services which is expected to last a maximum of four hours. During this period, all Queen Mary fixed phones will stop working. Calls can continue to made to Security Offices at Mile End (020 7882 5000), Whitechapel (020 7882 2599) and Charterhouse Square (020 7882 6020) and to the Security Emergency Line (020 7882 3333) as these numbers will be re-directed to mobiles. Emergency phones in lifts will not be working during the outage.
On the evening of Thursday 15 April, there will be some further brief outages to the telephony system between 6-10pm while failover testing is conducted. During this period calls can continue to be made to the Security Offices and Emergency Line. Emergency phones in lifts will not be impacted by this testing.
