Queen Mary’s spring vacation runs from Friday 30 March to Friday 20 April, with semester three beginning on Monday 23 April. Friday 30 March and Monday 2 April are UK bank holidays, which means that many Queen Mary services will be closed.
Local and national services may also be operating reduced opening hours, and transportation may be running on a reduced service, so it’s a good idea to check in advance. The information below should help with your planning. Have a great holiday!
Mile End Library will remain open 24 hours a day over the spring vacation.
Whitechapel Library will be open from 8.30am to midnight every day.
West Smithfield Library will be open from noon to 8pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays), with library staff available noon-2pm each day.

The Service Desk will close as of today, Thursday 29 March, from 4pm. All calls will transfer over to Norman who provide our out of hours service. Norman are available 24 hours a day over the Easter weekend. Calls will transfer back to QMUL IT Services from 8am Tuesday 3 April. Room W209 (where we are situated) will be closed from 6pm today until 8am on Tuesday 3 April.

The Chaplaincy building will be closed from 5pm on Thursday 29 March and will reopen at 9am on Monday 23 April.
