Professor Stephanie Marshall, Vice-Principal (Education), has written to all students to ask for feedback about the recent use of mixed-mode education to deliver some modules during Semester A.
As you know, Queen Mary’s 2030 Strategy sets out that we will deliver an outstanding, inclusive, world-class education and student experience. That includes exploring modes of delivery that ensure accessibility for all Queen Mary students. The recent restrictions on travel and large group gatherings have accelerated some of these plans and allowed us to trial new modes of delivery.
Throughout Semester A, some modules have been delivered in a way that allows students to participate either online or in the room with the lecturer - this is known as mixed-mode education, or MME. We are keen to learn more about your experience to be able to improve future MME offerings at Queen Mary. To that end, we’ve created a short survey to collect your feedback not only on experiences of MME this semester, but your thoughts on how Queen Mary can continue to create innovative educational experiences.
Take the survey.
This quick survey should take no more than five minutes to complete. All responses will be confidential. As a thank you for participating, you can choose to enter your name in a draw to win one of twenty £20 Amazon gift cards. Make sure you complete the survey by Friday 17 December.
We hope you’ll take this opportunity to share your thoughts about mixed-mode education here at Queen Mary. We are very grateful for your feedback.
Best wishes,
Stephanie
