Throughout May, we will be celebrating our vibrant and distinguished history and we want you to get involved.
On Sunday 14 May 2017, QMUL celebrated its 130th anniversary. We began life in 1887 as the People’s Palace, a philanthropic venture providing education, culture and entertainment to the people of east London. We are now proud to be one of the leading research-led universities in the UK.
Throughout May, we will be celebrating our vibrant and distinguished history and we want you to get involved. We want to hear about your experience of studying at QMUL, so please share a photo, video clip, memory or memorabilia that best reflects your time with us. We will showcase the best entries on our website and social media channels, where the top three will receive a prize.
You can share your memories on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #QMUL130 or you can send in your memories via email or post:

It doesn’t matter when the photo was taken, we want to learn about the people who have made QMUL the place it is today.
