Public Engagement Watermark survey now open for your thoughts

The National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) Engage Watermark survey is now open to all Queen Mary students and staff to share their experiences and thoughts on public engagement at the University.

Published:

The Engage Watermark acts as a charter mark for universities and is awarded to institutions to recognise their strategic support for public engagement and their commitment to develop this work in future. Queen Mary was the first university to be awarded a Gold Engage Watermark in 2016, recognising the excellence in support on offer. We are now the first university seeking the Platinum Watermark, available to Gold Watermark holders after four years, to show our sustained commitment to excellence.

As part of the Watermark accreditation process, we are inviting all students and staff across Queen Mary to participate in the NCCPE’s Engage Watermark survey - sharing with us their experiences, insights, and thoughts about public engagement to help us reflect on our current practice.

The Centre for Public Engagement will also be using the insights from the Watermark survey to further inform the work that they have been doing in developing Queen Mary’s Public Engagement Enabling Plan, to shape the future of engagement support on offer at the University.
