Phishing scam targeting student loans
We’re aware of a phishing email that some students have received purporting to be from the University and suggesting that an additional tuition fee payment is required.

Please do not click the link in the email or make a payment to the bank account details within this email.
If you have clicked on the link please contact the IT Service Desk.
We will only ever contact you regarding fees payment from an authorised member of University staff from a QMUL.ac.uk email address.
Report Fraud, run by the City of London Police, are aware and advise that any students directly impacted (have made payment, shared confidential information, etc) should also contact them separately to report the incident.
