Chris Shelley, Director of Student Experience at Queen Mary, wrote to all students on Tuesday 14 February regarding the missed teaching form.
Dear student,
I’m writing to remind you to please use the missed teaching form if a scheduled educational activity is cancelled or doesn’t go ahead as planned, and you have not been told the education will be made up.
This form should be used if educational activities (lectures, labs, tutorials, etc) are cancelled due to strike action, or for any other reason. This enables us to follow up and ensure that any missed education is made up.
You should not use the form to record your own absence.
Once you have filled in the form your School/Institute will look into the issue, and will get back to you. Please bear with us as it may take a little while to respond to you.
Best wishes,
Chris
