Emergency SMS test, 3pm Wednesday 18 March
At 3pm on Wednesday 18 March we will send all students and all employees a test SMS message. You do not need to do anything – we are just testing our emergency notification system.
Please ensure we have the correct phone number for you by updating your details on MyHR (select personal details then contact details) or SITS (how to update details on SITS).
You will not receive this test if you work as a contractor or are employed overseas.
Why are we doing this test?
Our emergency alerts system, which includes our SMS system, serves a crucial purpose in keeping our students and employees safe. We maintain this system to be able to communicate with all our students and staff in the event of an emergency or major incident, either on or near our campuses, or with our essential systems.
We test this emergency alert system periodically to ensure it will work effectively should we need to use it.
