Apply for the Level Up Mentoring Scheme

Apply to become a mentor on the Level Up scheme and help us support even more students across Queen Mary. Being a mentor can be a rewarding experience, positively impacting others’ wellbeing. But it can also help build your own confidence as you develop communication skills and experience working with diverse groups. Being part of the Scheme also gives you access to career development events. The scheme runs from September 2024 to January 2025, and successful completion as a mentor will be recognised on your HEAR transcript.

To take part in Level Up as a mentor, you should:

• Be a returning student who has completed your first and/or second year of undergraduate study at Queen Mary
• Be able to commit 10 hours to the scheme between September and January
• Be able to complete an online training session. These sessions will run from August to September 2024
• Be able to set up a Welcome Back to Second Year Meet Up on campus with their mentees during week one or week two 2024
