Careers and Enterprise is here to support you as a student a Queen Mary and beyond. You can continue accessing their resources remotely and for two years after graduation.

Graduating this summer?

Did you know that you can continue to use the services of Careers & Enterprise for two years after graduation? You can access one-to-one careers guidance appointments where you can discuss job choices, get job application feedback and have a practice interview, and you can also attend events and browse the jobs board. The QEnteprise team supports all things entrepreneurial here at QMUL. They will work with you to develop your business skills and support you to launch businesses and social enterprises.

If you would like to sit down and chat with somebody from the Enterprise team about your business idea, starting a business more generally or anything else enterprise-related, give them a call on 0207 882 8533 or visit the Careers Information Desk in room WG3, Queens’ Building, Mile End.

Work experience that fits around your schedule

QTemps provides the platform for you to gain work experience and develop the skills needed to thrive in the workplace through their temporary roles. They offer a range of diverse positions at any given time and regularly recruit for tutors, service desk analysts, administrators, E-learning assistants and more. They are a London Living Wage employer and pay a minimum of £10.20 an hour for all positions. Find out more.

Hear from young people on starting their own business

Queen Mary students are being offered free entry to My Startup Story 2018, a lively evening chat with a panel of inspirational young founders sharing their startup stories to inspire young people to turn their innovative ideas into reality. The event will take place on Wednesday 13 June at WeWork Aldwych. You will need to use the code ‘Students18’ when registering here, and also bring your student ID card on the day.
