QMUL Bursary – what to do if you haven't been contacted

The Bursaries Office offers advice for what to do if you think you should be receiving the QMUL Bursary but have not been emailed about it yet, and what you need to do if you received the Bursary last year but haven't had an entitlement letter this year.

Published:

I think I should be receiving the QMUL Bursary 2017/18 but why have I not been emailed about it?

Bursary entitlement letters can now be seen online, check yours to see confirmation of your entitlement, bank account details and the exact payment dates of the two instalments in February and May 2018.

If you have applied for a full income assessment from Student Finance England (or equivalent) and think you are eligible for a QMUL Bursary, you should be able to view your bursary entitlement letter online. You can see it by logging in to your Student Finance application at the appropriate website below and looking under ‘Letters and Emails’.

I received the bursary last year so why haven’t I had an entitlement letter this year?

Have you applied for a full income assessment for 2017/18? You need to apply for this each academic year, if you haven’t done so already call Student Finance as above and request an Assessment of Financial Circumstances Form (PFF2).
