Student support contacts

Queen Mary’s Schools and Institutes have dedicated student support staff (usually called Student Support Officers or something similar) who can provide you with advice and guidance. Part of their role is to signpost students to other specialist support services at the university and to explain our more common regulations and processes.

Institute of Health Sciences Education (IHSE) – MBBS/GEP and Physicians Associate programme (London Campus)

The IHSE Student Support office is based at:

Students can book a 30-minute confidential and non-judgemental support appointment with a member of the IHSE student support service. To find out more on the booking process please email ihse-student-support@qmul.ac.uk with your availability. Please note, the IHSE Student Support service supports current IHSE students only.  

To ensure that students can be seen ahead of the weekend, they offer in-person drop- in sessions during term time. Drop-in sessions are designed for quick queries and due to their nature, students may need to wait to be seen. In-person drop-ins are held every Friday from 14:00 – 17:00 in room 2.45, The Garrod Building, Turner Street, E1 2AD
