In January 2017, the School of Economics and Finance moved into the Graduate Centre on the Mile End Campus. The building houses, along with a mock trading room and innovative teaching and learning spaces, the Peston Lecture Theatre, named in honour of the late Lord Maurice Peston, founder of the School of Economics and Finance at QMUL and an economist of national and international renown.
To celebrate the move of the School of Economics and Finance into the new Graduate Centre and to inaugurate the Peston Lecture Theatre, the School of Economics and Finance are delighted to invite you to ‘In conversation with Robert Peston: Brexit Britain.’
The event will be chaired by Professor Sujoy Mukerji, Head of the School of Economics and Finance. Speaking of the event, Professor Mukerji said: "'In conversation with Robert Peston: Brexit Britain', promises to be a fascinating event. Peston is well known for his insightful, path-breaking, reportage and analyses of the financial world and UK politics. He will be joined by Professor Phillip Colwey, an expert on British electoral politics with long experience of producing many engaging editions of 'In conversation…' at the Mile End Institute, and Daniel Trinder, an alumnus and Head of Regulatory Reform at Standard Chartered PLC who has previously worked at the UK Treasury, where he was Head of the European and international financial services division."
The lecture will be followed by a networking drinks reception.
