Updates from your Students' Union – Elections, RAG Week, London Marathon and a new coffee

Friday 20 January 2017

Could you lead the Students’ Union? – nominations open

Nominations in the annual Union Elections are now open with over 40 exciting full-time and part-time positions available. Elected students set the direction of the Union, decide on student policy and run campaigns and projects to improve students’ lives. It’s a unique experience where you will access a range of benefits. Our Elections website has more information about how to run.

London Marathon 2017

Were you unsuccessful in the London Marathon ballot? Worry not – RAG has three guaranteed places for the keenest runners at QMSU, so if you're interested in running the London Marathon then check out how to apply.

RAG Week

Join us for a week long line-up of events for RAG Week 2017. All profits made during the week will be going to the RAG charities for this year, MIND and Breast Cancer Now. Check out the first event here.

Try our new coffee

Your Students’ Union has launched a brand new coffee blend across our outlets (in Ground, Learning Café, Drapers Bar & Kitchen, and Infusion). You asked us to be more sustainable so we’ve selected a new coffee that’s good for the environment and gives back to the communities where it was created. It’s also very tasty, so enjoy! To find out more about our coffee’s journey from the Rwandan hills to your cup visit qmsu.org/ourcoffee.
