Money Matters – National Student Money Week

Thursday 19 January 2017

National Student Money Week 6–10 February

If you need some inspiration to improve your finances, National Student Money Week is coming up soon. This is a nationwide event to help students be more able to manage their finances, and to reduce the stress and anxiety that are often associated with concerns about money.

Come along to the People’s Palace foyer from 11am – 3pm on Tuesday 7 February for our big money event for all QMUL students. Meet staff from a variety of QMUL services as well as external organisations and learn about ways of getting the best value for your money, being creative with your resources, how to increase your income, and plan your budget.

Follow us on Facebook and Twitter where we will be posting information about other events we are running during money week, including one to one quick financial health checks.

There is lots of useful information you can use to improve your finances on the money pages of our website. International students please see our international money webpages.

Do you need further advice?

Money advice is available to all QMUL students from experienced Welfare Advisers in the Advice and Counselling Service. The service is confidential and free.

We have same-day appointments every weekday in term-time, subject to availability. Just turn up to register at 1.30pm. If you would prefer to book an appointment or ask for advice on email you can:
