Elections 2017 - nominations now open
Nominations for the Elections are now open. There are lots of roles you can nominate yourself for, including full-time paid positions (Salary £24500 per year) and part-time voluntary positions. Elected students lead the Students' Union, run campaigns, projects and events to improve the student experience and represent QMUL students to the University, Union and in the local community.
There are a wide range of positions available. You can check out the full list and find out more information on the SU website.

Welcome Back Fair - Wednesday 18th January | 1pm-6pm
The Welcome Back Fair is your chance to get involved in societies, sports clubs, volunteering groups and Student Media. Check out the activities your Union has to offer and take advantage of lots of freebies! You can also check out our events, find out more about the Elections, nominate yourself to be a Course Rep, sample some great food and drink or get involved in Union opportunities such as Community Sport, Get Active, the Buddy Scheme or QM Skills Award. We will also have a range of external companies returning to the Fair.
Health Volunteer Fair – Wednesday 11 January – 1–3pm
Find out more about health and wellbeing related volunteering opportunities available to you. There will be around 20 stalls, offering a range of different roles to suit all interests, timetables and availability. All roles will enable you to grow and demonstrate your skills, and make a difference in the community. For more information visit:

Become a Buddy Mentor
Would you like the opportunity to help new students out when they arrive at University while meeting new people, having fun and developing your employability skills? Sign up to be a Students' Union Buddy Mentor and this will all be in your reach. All you have to do is attend one training session and then be available for one session during Welcome Week 2017. New study spaces and Freeze our Fees wins
Your Executive Officers had a packed December. There have been lots of wins for you. In response to Union campaigns, new study spaces and toilet facilities have opened in the Library and following the Freeze our Fees campaign, fees for continuing home and EU students have been frozen.
