The School of Geography has a range masters courses that address key themes in human geography, physical geography and environmental science, as well as some funding opportunities to help postgraduate students through their studies.
These include the Walter Oldershaw Award (across all masters degrees offered by the School of Geography – application deadline: 15 July), the Worshipful Company of Water Conservators bursary (on the Integrated Management of Freshwater Environments MSc degree course – deadline 15 July), the Simon and Deirdre Gaskell Scholarship and the Queen Mary Alumni Loyalty Award (for all QMUL alumni). Detailed information, including eligibility criteria, how to apply for these awards and deadlines for applications is available on the geography website.
Additionally, eligible students will be able to borrow loans of up to £10,000 for masters degrees from the 2016-17 academic year onwards, under the new government-backed Postgraduate Loans Scheme.
