The Disability and Dyslexia Service have arranged two group study skills sessions for students with specific learning difficulties (SpLDs), for example, dyslexia, in order to help meet the demand for revision support as we head nearer the main examination period.
These will be available in the first instance to students with SpLDs and will be particularly attractive to students concerned about their existing revision strategies.
The two sessions will be run by Angie Venchard, our Disability Adviser (SpLD) on the following days:
Wednesday 10 February 2016 from 9.30am – 11am in PP2 (in the Peoples’ Palace)
Wednesday 24 February 2016 from 11am - 1pm in David Sizer LT (Ground floor of the Bancroft Building)
The aims of the workshops are as follows:
- Organising revision efficiently making recalling/memory techniques easier.
- Build, and develop, essential skills making revision more effective.
- Develop time management skills so you can confidently learn all you need to.
- Preparing for the exams.
In order to book a place, students are advised to contact Angie directly on email@example.com and provide her with the following information:
