Christmas should be a time for family, excitement and wonder, but the reality is different for patients too ill to spend the holidays at home.
Hospital staff work tirelessly to make Christmas a happy time for children and families of all faiths, but to make it extra special they need your help. This year Barts Charity need at least 600 presents to make sure every child can receive a gift from Santa on Christmas morning – and your support can make this possible.
Buy a gift
Visit their Amazon wish list to purchase a gift for a child in hospital. This list has been put together by the hospital staff to match the needs of their patients over the Christmas holidays.
Make a donation
Send a smile to a child in Barts Health NHS Trust hospitals and make a donation today! 100% of your donation will go directly to support their children’s services this Christmas.
Hold a fundraising event
Get your family, friends or colleagues together and hold a festive fundraiser! Some good event ideas are:
• A bake sale
• Christmas dress down day
• Join the team of ‘sporty Santas’ for the Santa Fun Run
