QMUL student develops new app to help you connect with others

Friday 30 October 2015

QMUL student Davina Finn has launched ‘MyBranch’, a new, free smartphone app that makes it easy for users to make plans and meet new people. As a current QMUL Study Abroad student, Davina hopes that using the app will enrich the experience of both study abroad students and the entire student body.

With students coming from all over the country, and all over the world, the My Branch app can help you find other students to join in making plans to explore the amazing city of London.  Plans made on the app can be anything from finding a jogging buddy, to attending a local concert or sporting event, to sightseeing or going on a day trip. The app also showcases certain "featured plans", which are public events happening on campus or in the city. This allows users to easily connect with others who are interested in attending the featured events, so that they can make plans to attend together.

Find out more about the app at www.mybranchapp.com or on the facebook page www.facebook.com/mybranchapp
