For the past two to three years, QMUL student Alexander McKeown has been developing a product called Duothirst, the world's first single nozzled sports bottle that can hold two drinks simultaneously.
Duothirst is a new way to stay hydrated during exercise whilst maintaining convenience during your workout. To choose which drink you want, you simply twist the top part of the lid to click into one of four positions; it lets you decide whether you want to have one, two or a mixture of two drinks. The product eliminates the need to carry multiple bottles with different liquids such as water, energy drinks and supplement drinks to both replenish and rehydrate.
The bottle holds a total of 800ml (400ml in each bottle half) and it has been designed to fit in all standard bike bottle racks/holders. Allowing you to access two drinks from just one bottle holder whilst cycling.
Alexander’s company, Duothirst Ltd, launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign on Wednesday 28 October. The minimum funding goal for this project is $50,000. You can pre order your Duothirst from the campaign page here: igg.me/at/duothirst
