If you’ve visited Geography Square at the Mile End campus, you might have noticed ground works underway for the new landscaping scheme and combined heating and power (CHP) pipework as part of the new Graduate Centre project. As well as the Graduate Centre, the CHP will also service other buildings on campus in order to facilitate a more efficient and sustainable energy strategy.
This work is almost complete, and the outstanding areas in Geography Square are due to be paved this weekend, starting at 7pm this Friday 25 until 8am on Monday 28 September, to ensure that noisy works are finished before teaching starts. This means access from Library Square into Geography Square (towards the Temporary and Fogg Buildings) will be restricted during this time.
Emergency escape access will be maintained at all times.
If you have any concerns about this work, please contact Theresia Mahindi at firstname.lastname@example.org or 020 7882 8891 as soon as possible for information on alternative access routes.
