Why not volunteer as a Green Mary Project Assistant to gain skills for your CV?
Becoming a volunteer Green Mary Project Assistant is a great practical way of getting involved in the sustainability initiatives taking place across QMUL.
There are a number of staff Green Mary teams across QMUL who compete to complete a workbook of green and sustainable changes throughout the year. Teams are awarded bronze, silver and gold awards at the end of the year in line with their achievements.
As a Project Assistant, you will work alongside a team of staff throughout the year, helping them to make their department more green in a fun and creative way. The Project Assistant role is a great opportunity to develop key skills for your CV, including leadership, communication, team work, and environmental management. The role is flexible around lectures, and you’ll give between two and ten hours of your time a month.
]No previous experience is needed – just enthusiasm; we provide training before you start in the role. Free training, run by experienced Sustainability professionals, will be held on Tuesday 13 October with 90-minute sessions held through the afternoon at 12pm, 1.30pm and 3pm.
