IT Helpdesk – Out of hours phone support now available

IT Services is now providing additional evening and weekend IT support for QMUL students.

If you call the IT Helpdesk on 0207 882 8888 outside of 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, including weekends and bank holidays, you will be put through to an operator who can offer general advice and help with requests such as password resets, wi-fi (eduroam) connection issues, and login issues to various applications.

Any calls that cannot be resolved will be picked up by IT Services the next working day. Please also be aware that this new service provides general phone support only and IT Services will subsequently respond during their normal working hours to any emails sent out of hours. You can still visit the IT Helpdesk at the Mile End campus between 8am and 6pm.

Our new out of hours helpline, known as NorMAN, is run by the University of Northumbria and is used by a number of universities in the UK. If you have any questions or would like more information about this new service, please contact the IT Helpdesk on 0207 882 8888.
