Queen Mary Students’ Union (QMSU) One-Day volunteering is an opportunity for students to take some time out from university work for a few hours and have new and different volunteering experiences with a group of other Queen Mary students, without having to commit on a regular basis. There are plenty opportunities coming up in May which will be promoted on QMSU website as well as through the Volunteering social media pages on Facebook and Twitter. These include:
Sunday 10 May
Hackney will be closing its roads to cars and opening them to thousands of runners for Run Hackney 2015, a sporting event which expects to attract 15,000 runners. QMSU Volunteers are needed for group roles which will provide crucial event day support.
