If you are a Final year undergraduate student considering going on to a one year Masters programme and you started your undergraduate degree since 2012, you may be interested in this scheme. For 2015 entry, for this year only, QMUL is offering 105 scholarships of £10,000 each for masters-level study. These awards are jointly funded by QMUL and the government and are intended to help students who might otherwise be prevented from taking up a Masters degree due to financial concerns. Student Projects Funding
The Development Directorate is now accepting applications for Annual Fund grants of up to £5,000 for student projects aimed at widening opportunities in the following three areas: community, employability and student support. All kinds of projects can receive funding, as long as they make a difference to students in one of these three areas. Use our funding to build new skills, volunteer and help others, start a new society… it’s your choice! To apply please click here. The deadline for applications is Monday 25 May 2015.
Last year we were able to fund 22 projects ranging from equipment for sports teams to sponsoring international conferences and festivals. This year, thanks to the generous support of alumni (former students), staff and friends of Queen Mary, we have more funding so we’re hoping to fund even more projects.
Click here for information on some of last year’s projects supported.
Any member of the QMUL community, including students and staff, can apply, so please, spread the word!
Please note: You can apply to run a project as an individual, for example to offer a skills workshop for students. But you cannot apply to benefit from funding as an individual, for example for hardship funding for yourself.
For further information on how to apply please visit the QMUL website here.
Deadline for applications: Monday 25 May 2015
