Join Barts Charity and Egbert’s Eggs-traordinary Challenge

Wednesday 25 February 2015

Being away from friends and family during this time can be difficult for young patients, especially during the holidays. Barts Charity want to make this Easter weekend a special one for all the young patients in their children’s hospitals – at the Royal London, Newham and Whipps Cross. To make sure every child has a gift this Easter, Barts Charity and their Easter bunny, Egbert, need your help! They need at least 600 chocolate eggs, as well as non-chocolate gifts for those children unable to eat chocolate for religious or medical reasons.

How to join Egbert in his challenge:

  • Send chocolate eggs or small packets of chocolate for smaller hands (details at the bottom of the page)
  • Donate arts, craft and stationery supplies to give young patients fun and creative activities to do
  • Donate to Barts Charity’s children’s services online or by texting BTLC12 £5 to 70070
  • Ask for posters and flyers to put up in your local community

Spread the word! You can help by telling as many people as you can about Egbert and the appeal. Like on Facebook and share the posts about Egbert’s challenge.
