QMBL Debate Society External Speaker Event: This House Would Boycott Israel

On Monday 1 December, QMBL Debate Society is hosting a debate centred on the pros and cons of boycotting Israel. The debate will take place at 6pm in room 2.04, Francis Bancroft, Mile End campus. This is a free event open to all students.

Guest speakers for the proposition include Baroness Tonge, a patron of Palestine Solidarity Campaign, and Rana Baker, a Palestinian journalist and activist from Gaza. On the opposition Alan Johnson, a senior researcher fellow for Britain Israel Communications and Research Centre (BICOM) and editor of the journal FATHOM, will be debating alongside Robert Fine, the Professor Emeritus of sociology at the University of Warwick.
