Monday 3 November 2014
Queen Mary undergraduates, taught postgraduates and research students can become members of Senate House Library. Membership includes reference use, borrowing and off-site access to a wide range of electronic journals and subject-specific databases. The Senate House stock is mostly in the areas of the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, though it provides basic reference tools in science and medicine and maintains significant collections in the History and Philosophy of Science, Technology and Medicine.
On Tuesday 11 November, between 1-5pm, you will be able to register with Senate House Library at the QMUL Mile End Library Help Zone. You will need to pre-register your details in in advance, via the Senate House Library website.
This is a very quick and straightforward process and will enable the Senate House registration team to issue a membership card to you directly at QMUL. Your card will be activated within 24 hours, enabling off-site access to Senate House e-journals and databases.
We hope this event provides a welcome opportunity to streamline the registration process and improve access to the collections at Senate House Library. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Martin Beeson, Teaching and Learning Support Manager, directly:
