The Advice and Counselling Service are running a series of one-off workshops which are free and available to all students. The workshops will take place every month and places are allocated on a first come, first serve basis. This year there will be three different workshops available which will focus on issues such as coping with stress, procrastination and building relationships.
The workshops will take place at the Advice and Counselling service, on the ground floor of the Geography building, Mile End campus. All of the workshops will begin at 4.15pm however you are encouraged to sign up for them from 3.45pm.
Below are the details for three workshops:
Coping with Stress Workshop
This 90 minute workshop aims to introduce the principles of good stress management. The session encourages the discussion of your own experiences and sharing practical ideas and strategies.
Workshop dates: 19 November 2014, 14 January 2015, 11 February 2015, 4 March 2015, 15 April 2015.
The aim of the workshop is to raise your awareness of the problem processes which form your procrastination habits and get you started on making a change.
Workshop dates: 10 December 2014, 28 January 2015, 25 February 2015, 18 March 2015.
Building relationships workshop
A workshop to help you develop and maintain healthy relationships with friends, family and partners.
Workshop date: 3 December 2014.
