Careers & Enterprise are participating in Global Entrepreneurship Week to put on a variety of enterprise events in November, embracing the 2015 theme of ‘Get Connected’. Events include a business concept bootcamp, speed mentoring, crowdfunding workshop and business start-up event.
The week will kick off on Friday 14 November with a three day bootcamp run by 3DS, where students will work in teams over the course of 72 hours to take an idea from concept to pitch, learning about ideation, team formation, market testing, prototyping and presenting along the way. Mentors will be on hand to guide them. Applications are still open to QMUL students until 7th November, apply here: queenmary.3daystartup.org/apply
Next up on Tuesday 18 November is a speed mentoring event held in Drapers Bar, where students can get advice from a variety of mentors on different issues relating to their business: http://gewspeedmentoring.eventbrite.co.uk
Seedrs take over on Wednesday 19 November to run a crowdfunding workshop, where students will learn just what crowdfunding really means, and get tips on how to create a great campaign: https://seedrs.eventbrite.co.uk
