Green Impact is back and we are looking for enthusiastic students to train as Project Assistants! Green Impact is an environmental awards programme run by the NUS in more than 50 universities and colleges and 100 Students’ Unions across the UK. Project Assistants will help recruit teams and then offer support to help team complete the Green Impact workbook. Getting involved as a project assistant offers you the chance to develop communications, project management and leadership skills, help boost your CV and help the environment too!
Although the amount of hours a volunteer gives will varies on how much help teams need, on average an hour a week is a huge help.
Training sessions covering all the skills a Project Assistant needs will be held on the 14, 15 and 16 October and will take two hours.
If you are interested in volunteering as a project assistant please email the QMUL Sustainability team for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org.
