That all important time of year is upon us again – the exams period! With just under 60,000 individual exam sittings taking place this year it’s our biggest sitting yet. Here at the Student Enquiry Centre we understand how important it is things go smoothly for candidates as this can be a stressful time. Please ensure that you have a valid student ID card to gain entrance to the exam. If you need a replacement you can find out how to get one here: www.arcs.qmul.ac.uk/students/sec/student-card.
Candidates should also check their timetables which are available on MySIS and familiarise themselves with the university's notes and examination regulations before entering an examination: www.arcs.qmul.ac.uk/students/exams.
Exam venue information is available on our website: www.arcs.qmul.ac.uk/students/exams/exam-timetable/examination-venues. We are also using a new external site The John Orwell Sports Centre in Wapping instead of the previous venue York Hall.
Please bring the appropriate stationary and make sure that all mobile phones and electronic devices are switched off. Candidates should also be advised that exams will take place regardless of the looming tube strikes unless specified otherwise by the university.
During the exam period the Student Enquiry Centre will have a lost property box for items which have been left in exam rooms. We will keep these items until Friday 13 June 2014. After this date, any items which we can donate will go to charity and any other items will be destroyed: www.arcs.qmul.ac.uk/students/exams/Lost-property
