For those who haven’t yet heard, the dental school is embarking on an exciting move to brand new facilities this spring. The school will begin moving to new accommodation in the Alexandra wing of the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel from March 2014 and is expected to have finished by the end of April.
Costing in the region of £78m, it is the first new dental school to be built in the UK for over 40 years, and will house state of the art facilities. The new school will provide the most modern learning environment for dental education in the UK and we hope our students are looking forward to working in the new and improved hospital.
We will be doing everything we can to minimise disruption during the moving period. Dental students will receive further details relating to the school relocation in due course so please do look out for announcements.
