QMplus, our online learning environment, launched last year for many students. We’re really proud of QMplus but we would like to know what you think of it too. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey here. The feedback you give us will help shape the future development of QMplus. As an added incentive to complete the survey we will also enter you into a prize draw to win £50 of Amazon vouchers.
Why are we running a survey on QMplus?
- Review our progress near the end of the first academic year of QMplus from a student perspective
- Help inform development of the system
- Gain a clearer understanding of how QMplus is perceived by students
- To learn which parts of the system students find most useful to their learning
- Evaluate the design of the system from the end user’s perspective
- Understand the context in which QM students are engaging with online learning
How can I complete the survey?
The survey can be completed online: https://surveys.qmul.ac.uk/studentsurvey2013. Paper copies of the survey and a ballot box are also located in the library, in the café or the helpzone area.
How long will the survey take?
The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete. All questions that are compulsory are indicated by an asterisk*. There are also open questions which are optional but we would still appreciate your thoughts if you have the time.
Who should do the survey?
If you have been a student at QM in the 2012/13 academic year and you have used QMplus in any of your modules then you can participate. We welcome contributions from ALL students either local to London, studying in Beijing or Paris and via distance learning around the world.
The survey will not be linked to individual students. All results will be consolidated. The only people who have access to the raw data will be members of the E-Learning Unit. If you have any questions about the survey or about QMplus more generally please contact the E-Learning Unit: email@example.com.
What are we going to do with the data?
When we have analysed the data we will publish all findings in a short report. This will be made available to all students at QM. We also show you what improvements are made.
