Relieve Exam Stress with some ‘Pet Therapy’ on Meet the Animals Day!

Friday 3 May 2013

On Wednesday 8 May between 2-6pm, Residential Support will be hosting an array of VIP animal guests on the canal side (outside Residences Reception) including a miniature pony, a donkey, kid goats, rabbits and guinea pigs!

Research has demonstrated that the act of stroking an animal has exceptional benefits to help eliminate stress such as: slowing down heart rate, reducing blood pressure, calming nerves, regulating breathing and elevating mood.

So come along for some pet therapy and enjoy some ‘human-animal bonding’ to help clear your mind and help you focus on your exams!
