Too noisy in silent study areas? Report it to Noiseline

Monday 8 April 2013

Noiseline is a noise reporting service in the silent study areas of the Mile End library. Library users will be able to report noise disturbances by text to a Library phone, and a member of staff will investigate and deal with any issues that might arise.

If you are being disturbed in a silent study area, just text your location code to 07903 116114 and Library staff will attend as soon as possible. Look out for maps in the reading rooms to find out your location code and the Noiseline number.

There will also be an increased staff presence on the upper floors throughout the day and night to assist library users with any questions or concerns, and to monitor the study areas.

The service will be piloted from 18 March to 26 April and will run between 10am-8pm. Visit the website to find out more: www.library.qmul.ac.uk/news/march2013/noiseline.
