Flicker: a new opera about a woman’s struggle with locked-in syndrome

There will be a one-off performance on Thursday 24 January of Flicker, an opera that explores new assistive communication technologies used for locked-in syndrome sufferers.  

The opera has been developed by Metta Theatre with the Royal Hospital of Neuro-disability and is a new show that may be of specific interest to the Medical / Neuroscience Department and staff, students, patients and families with experience of locked-in syndrome and other neurological illnesses.

Flicker explores new technologies that are becoming available in an accessible way, and so may be of specific interest to those studying locked-in syndrome and other neurological illnesses.
