Wednesday 6 November 2013
The Student Barometer opens on Wednesday 13 November and you will receive an email from QM and i-Graduate, who run the survey, encouraging you to complete the survey. The Student Barometer is an opportunity for all students (apart from final year undergraduates who will complete the National Student Survey in January 2014) to tell us what’s working, what can be improved and what you think of your university experience so far.
The email you receive contains your unique link to the survey – use this link to complete the survey. The survey measures student satisfaction in four areas – Arrival, Learning, Living and Support – and takes around ten minutes to complete, and all answers are anonymous.
The survey is run for QM by the International Graduate Insight Group (www.i-graduate.org). As a thank-you for completing the questionnaire, i-graduate is offering a prize draw for the opportunity to win £1,000, or a £1,000 donation to a charity of your choice. In addition, QM is offering three Amazon voucher prizes of £250, £150 and £100, drawn at random from all of you who complete the survey.
Responding to your feedback
Your response, together with the response from others, helps us to improve the student experience for current and future students at QM. Take a look at the changes we have already made as a direct result of student feedback: www.qmul.ac.uk/yousaidwedid.
If you have completed the Student Barometer in the past, please consider doing so again now. We recognise that opinions change over time, and equally, if previous concerns remain, we need to know so that we can make changes.
If you want to let QM know how you feel about things here, this is your opportunity to make yourself heard: please complete the survey by checking your QM emails and clicking on the unique link.
