William Harvey Day, QM’s annual day of celebrating and showcasing the world class research from the School of Medicine and Dentistry, took place last week on 16 October. Attended by a mix of SMD staff, students and guest speakers; the day consisted of lectures, ‘hot topic’ presentations and poster displays across St Barts Hospital and Barts Pathology Museum. The day culminated in an academic procession through St Bartholomew the Great, the oldest church in London.
Feedback on the day was extremely positive, with attendees commenting positively on the breadth of topics covered and quality of the speakers. We hope anyone unable to attend this year will be able to make it along for next year’s celebrations.
