Student Switch Off volunteer training, Thursday 10 October

Friday 4 October 2013

We are looking for enthusiastic, environmentally-minded students to become Ambassadors for the Student Switch Off campaign, helping to save energy and boost recycling in your halls this year. Last year’s winning hall was France House so, make sure your hall is the winner this year by coming along to our training session to find out more and get involved.

The training is a fun and interactive workshop providing you with skills in communication, social media and environmental campaigning. We will look at the Student Switch Off as a practical example of how to encourage behaviour change and together we can plan the campaign for QM this year. Our tips and tricks on effective communication will be transferable to your academic and extra-curricular activities and attending will look great on your CV!

As a bonus we will provide you with a free lunch and a Student Switch Off t-shirt!
