For the second year running, our students have told us that they are some of the most satisfied in London, according to the latest results of a nationwide survey of final-year undergraduates. We are now placed number 25 in England out of 126 institutions, representing an increase of 17 places on last year’s results.
The 2013 National Student Survey (NSS) questioned final-year undergraduates at UK universities on various aspects of their student experience, including their overall satisfaction.
The survey results show that, following a steady rise in overall satisfaction since 2009, 89 per cent of QM students are satisfied with the quality of their course, three percentage points above the national average.
Jointly with Royal Holloway, we have the most satisfied students at a multi-faculty institution in London. Amongst the Russell Group institutions, our students are now the eighth most satisfied in the country, featuring in the top 10 for the first time (ranked 13th in 2012).
Our response rate for this year’s survey was 65 per cent, a two per cent improvement on the response achieved in 2012.
