From 15-19 July around 3,000 students will graduate from QM as part of our Graduation Ceremonies. If you’re graduating this year, we’d love to hear from you – have you got an inspiring story about your journey to graduation? Read on to find out more about some of our graduates and how you can get in touch to tell us your story.
In 2011, 93-year-old John North – who had fled Nazi Germany, later joined the RAF, then later spent decades working with computers - received his PhD from Queen Mary. His fantastic story made it into the Evening Standard and Saga Magazine and was a big hit on social media.
The same year, Stephanie Hartley showed us that a young baby and a 500 mile daily commute are no barrier to graduating with a First.
If you would like to get in touch to tell us about your story, please contact Fran Dodd, Student Communications Manager, firstname.lastname@example.org.
