Drapers’ Lecture: Do you have an opinion on teaching and learning?

Thursday 13 December 2012

The seventh annual Drapers’ Lecture, ‘MOOCs, Napster and the Tyranny of Conventional Wisdom: Where’s the Next Giant Leap for Higher Education?’, is being delivered by Martin Bean, Vice-Chancellor of Open University, at 5.30pm on Wednesday 16 January at the Peoples’ Palace. Martin will be exploring some of the big opportunities for education – and the biggest obstacles to progress – as technology advances.

The Drapers’ Lecture forms part of the annual Teaching and Learning Conference, ‘Bright Ideas, Building Futures:  Teaching and Learning in Changing Times’, which also takes place on Wednesday 16 January. The Conference is open to everyone, staff and students alike, who have an interest in teaching and learning. This is where projects, ideas and best practice surrounding teaching and learning are showcased and help support QM’s objective to continually shape and improve the teaching and learning agenda at QM.
