Student Barometer Survey 2012 – still time to tell us what you think!

Thursday 15 November 2012

The Student Barometer Survey opened on Thursday 15 November and students will have received an email from Queen Mary and QMSU, encouraging you to complete the survey. The Student Barometer is an opportunity for all students, apart from those in their final years, to tell us what’s working, what can be improved and what they think of their university experience to date.

The survey takes around ten minutes to complete and all answers are anonymous. The survey is run for the College by the International Graduate Insight Group (i-graduate.org). As a thank-you for completing the questionnaire, i-graduate are offering a prize draw for the opportunity to win £1,000. In addition, QM is offering an additional prize of an iPad to one Queen Mary student, drawn at random from all of you who complete the survey.

Why is it important?

Your response, together with the response from others, helps us to improve the student experience for current and future students. Improvements have already been made in areas such as the library, IT services, visa advice and more, but there is always more to be done.

Even if you responded last year, please do so again. We recognise that opinions change over time. Equally, if previous concerns remain, we need to know so that we can address them.

Your feedback will be combined with that of others and your name and email address removed, so that responses become anonymous. To find out more about i-graduate, please go to www.i-graduate.org/privacy_policy to view i-graduate’s privacy policy and FAQs.

If you want to let the University know how you feel about things here at Queen Mary, this is your opportunity to make yourself heard: please complete the survey.

Final year students are invited to complete the National Student Survey (NSS) in January 2013 instead of this survey.
